Description

The Leasehand is responsible for keeping the rig clean, performing general maintenance and housekeeping. The Leasehand also provides assistance to rig personnel as required. Safety is the first priority for all drilling rig personnel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Wash down outside of all buildings
  • Ensure the doghouse and inside of all buildings are clean and tidy
  • Ensure location is free of garbage and debris
  • General maintenance of drilling rig
  • Set up and take down of rig
  • Ensure usage of proper safety equipment
  • Learn and adhere to the Company’s Safety Program and government safety regulations
  • Ability to comply with company guidelines and work in a safe manner

Skills & Requirements

Education and Experience

  • This is an entry level position
  • Require heavy labor background (minimum 6 months)

Job Requirements

MUST Possess Valid/Current

  • Enform H2S Alive Certification
  • Standard First Aid/CPR Certification
  • EGSO

Special Conditions of Employment

  • MUST be 18 years of age
  • Require heavy labor background (minimum 6 months)
  • Require valid driver licence and vehicle
  • Responsible for own transportation to and from worksite each day
  • Ability to financially sustain lodging/meals in non-camp situations
  • Must be able to complete and successfully pass a Pre-Employment Physical and Drug Test ( This will be arranged by CWC Ironhand Drilling)
  • Ability to work outside in extreme weather conditions such as rain, heat/cold, and exposure to loud noises
  • Ability to work in fast paced/repetitious environment
